    Verbally Announced Altitude?

I'm the same, I keep my reading glasses hanging on my collar in case I need to read the little letters. I preset my altitude to limit my altitude to where I'm flying. I usually am in a 400' area and I have set my controller to 395'. my crone will not go above that height. I change that only if...

Setting the date and time on a M3 Pro

But you have to tell it where you are and no, I don't think it will pick a time up from satellites. I've seen with mine that unless I start the controller at home and allow wifi access, it can be a day or three off. Once it gets synced through the wifi, you will be good. You just have to choose...

Setting the date and time on a M3 Pro

I was just in there and all of a sudden my drone is set for GMT +8 and China Standard and it is not intuitive as to changing it. Like said above settings, network & time, and thentap the region if it is wrong and then it will bring up a country screen to pick from... **** that took longer...

    Small drone rental options?

I was just on my Mavic 3 Pro and in the settings and saw that I have local data mode... I got a warning that it would not transmit info and the like... I assume this is the LDM you are talking about? If I'm wrong, sorry... (I know the M3Pro is a beginner drone but I assume you meant everything...

    Drones "Spying" on New Jersey.

I just don't know why we as drone pilots have to push that button just because we can legally do so does not me we should... You saw the "law makers" in the video and I can safely say... You do NOT want Washington all up in yours (and the rest of our) business. We do not want people raising an...

    Drones "Spying" on New Jersey.

I apologize, I did confuse them but I really didn't want to go in a political direction. I'm very worried that whatever these are they will give ammunition to all the karens out there... My brother in law has seen me flying my drone (in Vermont) and he loves my pictures but when I went up there...

Photo Settings for Super Moon/Lunar Eclipse?

Yeah, that screams photoshop. You need a telephoto to shoot the moon correctly Here are several drone shots with my Mavic 3 Pro. The explore 25x is not a great answer and I wish they would have given me instead a 30x prime tele lens but you work with what you have. The first three are the moon...

DJI ban: What happens to the drone I already own?

I'm more worried about the karen's coming over to demand to know the make of my drone (which  ) then I would refuse and then piss off karen who most likely will call said police making exaggerated claims and I would only worry about an uninformed officer... Other than that I don't fly near...

New DJI policy: No flight record syncing for US drone pilots

I started a log book in 2023 and I went back to my first flights with my Mini 2 and then my Mavic 3 Pro. I log Date and time, Pre-flight, LANNC, GE-LOC, Reason for mission (sunset, fall foliage) location, Battery(s) used and notes. I keep the notebook with my backpack that I keep the drone in.
