I agree with bret8883 it's a really hard and risky but with your experience and the size of the deck it's possible and should be tried at a lower speed to start with
To stop the props hitting the deck you could fit leg extensions, and when landing take 2 km off the speed of the vessel you are landing on. Work's for me.[emoji926]
I live in the uk and have done for 65 years and in all that time I have never had a gun pointed at me, in the uk it just doesn't happen here guns are illegal and anyone found with a gun end's up in prison. If you fly by the rules here there's no problem.
I have a pet tracker glued to mine and it works fine. I also spray painted mine fluorescent pink so if it decides to go fly away along with last location it's easy to find, tried and tested it stands out like a sore thumb. But make sure you mask all the vents, motors and all the relevant area's...
