You are correct though, it will be replaced with a refurb unit, potentially with more hours than the one you have was flown. But, it meets the original specs. If it makes you feel any better I bought the Mavic 2 Pro and it was defective out of the box and replaced by a refurb..
DJI received my M2P and is replacing (or repairing) under warranty. Recommend anyone having this issue to send theirs in.
Warranty fixing:
Gimbal Axis Arm Module (Pro)
Main Board
Correct, it tweaks out like the every 3-4 minutes of flight time, regardless of filming or not. It seems more common when the drone is turning. I’ve sent it back to DJI today so we will see what they say..
Just got through my vacation and filed a warranty claim. In almost all my videos there is gimble shaking, wind or no wind. Going to have some serious editing to do, hah. I had active track going while out ATV off-roading, it worked okay until the gimble shook and then the Mavic would lose...
Thanks paul, I will try that. Certainly is a strange issue to have where it doesn’t do that automatically. I have to send my M2P in for gimble issues so I’m going to have them troubleshoot that too.
I’d say you’re not the only one who has notice this. My Mavic 2 Pro can do about 4,000 feet before cutting out. Hoping they fix this with a firmware update. My buddies M2 zoom has the same thing, less than a mile. Flying at multiple locations. It’s deifnitely not 5 miles as advertised..
