    You still have to unlock the drone on the DJI app and put in your phone number. It's buggy and doesn't always work smoothly. I got it to work, but my flying buddy had issues where he couldn't get it to work.

    I submitted a flight plan yesterday via Airmap to fly in restricted airspace for today. Recreational. Got a quick response and authorization. 100 foot height restriction in downtown Boston. The system has a few quirks but the new LAANC approval system is a huge step forward.

    That is a good idea. But under the circumstances I think the Katana idea would have worked as well or better. I think that in a function room, or a church, or maybe a garage - big rooms. Hallways though are a challenge in any mode. In this film the shot kind of worked but the lights were blown...

    Thanks! That is exactly what one of our guys said... After the fact of course. We have two Katanas! They came with the Mavic Pro B&H package. I assume it will work with the Mavic 2 Pro as well.

    The exterior shot as the film opens was easy. There was light wind and we got the shot. Then we tried an interior shot of the reception area. That was not so easy. I started in Tripod mode. The object avoidance system was beeping like crazy. The room was too small. It was impossible to navigate...
