I just use hard-shell pencil case type and put them in regular comfortable to carry backpack. Downside is loosing time to unpack drone, controller and batteries from three different cases. Upside is that you can sort content of backpack quite well and better protection with hard shell

Does anyone try to clear cashe and reinstall app? Surprisingly many app on Android can go haywire after update. Clear cashe, uninstall , install again can sort that behavior surprisingly often

As for Xiaomi You can add Xiaomi A2 lite to the list. Android one phone ,pure Google 8.1 It works beautifully with Go 4.3 while cashing video to SD together with audio. To be honest I haven't tested it with older apps. Don't Intend for now.
