Thought I’d put together a quick video while out at a buddy’s place. It’s a little long but I wanted to give him some good shots of the land.

Great work! I used to hike all around Northern Arizona as a kid. Living in Texas, I don't have that kind of beautiful landscape to film or hike. I almost felt like I was on the trip with you. Well done.

I agree. Too long and repetitive. It's got to be interesting to the viewer. I get bored with my own videos if they're more than a couple minutes. Also, changing the subject (Smokieflies suggested the trains) can tell a better story.

It's kind of east Dallas, about 15 miles from Plano.

I just used the DJI Fly app for edits and music. Pretty cool to be able to do that so easily.

I shot this video with my Mini and edited the whole thing on my iPad.

Thanks, Neil. I’ll go take a look at Rockledge. It’s not easy to find interesting areas to film around here so I appreciate the suggestion.

Well done! The comments above are all good. Good mix of standard and drone footage. I would add... If it were me, I'd end on a more cinematic scene. Something with the couple in it. Just my 2 cents.

Ok. Thanks for the input. But, since I'm new to drones and filming, I'm not sure what "TO" is. I'm guessing take-off? Probably a dumb question but I'm just a rookie.... :)

Do you mean at around 1:30?
