I took this one when it was on sale because I liked the style of the author (he reviews a lot of drones on YouTube). He keeps the content updated and answers questions in a private Facebook group (that’s also very useful). Would definitely recommend it.

I don't think it's about maintaining the beauty of the location tbh. I think it's just plain ol' greed where they want to control the rights of photography and videography for scenic sites. You can apply and pay a fee to record. Another part is safety too for the visitors of those locations.

When the iPad mini 6 was first released it was incompatible (I had an air2s at the time) for a while until a software update was released. Worked fine after that.

It was a while ago but I think it was €30 for the a1/a3 (my cert is called Remote Pilot Certificate of Competency so I assume that was the course name). The IAA use a system called MySRS (my safety regulation system) and it's via that where your certificate is issued: MySRS Pretty sure you do...

The a1/a3 was a lot simpler IMO. I completed it at home (as well as the a2) and there's no requirement for a webcam, you can even have reference materials at hand. The certification is more orientated to make sure people have read the restrictions as opposed to being able to pass the test...

We stayed just east of the south airport so not far from you. Everything was in my hand luggage and I'm based in Europe so have my A1/A2/A3, drone labelled, etc.

I've given up on finding the perfect bag and instead use different sizes of the LowePro GearUp creator boxes depending on which drone I'm bringing.

Yeah I had no issues bringing mine in December
