Obstacle Avoidance in ActiveTrack comparsion to Mavic Pro 1

I don't really wanted to mount the controller on the bike directly, thinking more about the shocks it will get, I prefer to carry it on my backpack, even if to see the screen of my phone I need to stop and get the backpack off my back. Please be very careful when going trough trees, mavic air...

    Autopilot for M2 Pro..Anybody?

offline again :( Anyway they would not provide much help, it's sad ... the app is really advanced, and with a little more development I'm sure it could become one of the best apps for autonomous flight on iOS (Litchi , the main competitor doesn't have follow me feature on iOS)

    Autopilot for M2 Pro..Anybody?

I just noticed they don't have the support forum anymore, anyone around here from USA? to give them a call and see if they provide any information, will they continue to update the software, or offer any support ? Or the company closed the doors and stopped the development of the apps ?

Why not have a networked GPS based map on every aircraft?

:)) I didn't registered my Mavic, I fly it without registering and getting permissions to fly, I do as everybody does as Mavic is just for fun. I have my Inspire 1 registered and some of the flights I do with it, are made only after the permission is granted. Just to understand how strict the...

Why not have a networked GPS based map on every aircraft?

A transceiver should not be used by anyone with an unregistered drone, but anyway I'm sure nobody will want to install such an device if they know they are interfering with airplanes, it's like you call the ATC and tell them .. hey, I'm flying my drone in your airspace, and also tell them your...

Why not have a networked GPS based map on every aircraft?

It's called ADS-B, every line aircraft has an ADS-B transeiver, and with a cheap $5 USB TV dongle (with an RTL-2832 chipset) you can build your own radar and see "every aircraft" around you, even with the small dongle antenna you can see aircrafts from 300km away. But Even on aircrafts it's not...

Mavic Air follow me while decreasing altitude (start at the top of the mountain, finish at the base)

I also wouldn't mount the controller on the handle bar except when riding on tarmac, but on offroad rides I wouldn't trust the mounts, and even if the mounts will be strong enough there still is a risk if I crash , I could damage the controller/smartphone. So I made myself an strap, so I can...

Mavic Air follow me while decreasing altitude (start at the top of the mountain, finish at the base)

Sincerely I don't know what's the point of using Airspace in a Follow Me mission, I think a simple task is over-complicated when using Airspace, you need 2 devices, you need to be quite close one to another to not lose signal, another connection to worry about losing signal. If you want to...

Mavic Air follow me while decreasing altitude (start at the top of the mountain, finish at the base)

You connect the drone to your iPhone directly ? The signal is way decreased, if you use the iPhone only. I would not try to fly with my phone only, I see how much the leafs of a few trees affected the signal with the controller, with only the iPhone you will lose signal quite often.

Mavic Air follow me while decreasing altitude (start at the top of the mountain, finish at the base)

@bapski, do you mount the remote and the phone on the handlebar ? I'm really curious to see the log file of a follow me mission while going downhill, please if you fly it on a long downhill share the log file with me (airdata link to flight or the kml file downloaded from airdata, share it as a...

Mavic Air follow me while decreasing altitude (start at the top of the mountain, finish at the base)

I think the best settings are with minimal ALTITUDE TOLLERANCE (1m) and maximum ALTITUDE PRIORITY (25m ... it would be better if there was an OFF option too for altitude priority) But I still need to test more (because when I look on the logs the altitude of the drone it seems it doesn't change...

Focus mode will not follow you, only tilt the camera to point to the subject

GS PRO Photo map Assembly in a large image

To make your life easier, try the MapPilot app and mapsmadeeasy.com website, if you did the photos correctly, with enough overlap, you could try directly to upload your photos on mapsmadeeasy.com website to generate the ortofotoplan, I used it on many maps, with good results

Obstacle Avoidance in ActiveTrack comparsion to Mavic Pro 1

It seems you are looking for the same drone I'm looking for, than , Mavic Air might be your ALMOST perfect drone, or wait for Mavic Air 2 .. when that will come out :) (we all need obstacle sensors on the side too) I also don't hold the controller in my hand while riding my dirt bike, I made...
