Paleomanjim replied to the thread 3 Gooseneck State Park Utah.Thanks. The river was there millions of years ago as the land slowly rose up over a thousand feet locking the river channel in place. It cannot over flow its banks to change direction, crazy to think about!

The cloudly conditions were unpredictable and likely to get worse later into the eh day...
