My understanding is you should also recalibrate when you fly in new locations. E.g. Another town/state. I travel to a new town every 7 days so I get an error to recalibrate regularly.

I had a crash and need to send mine in. But I've heard different accounts of what to send in. One guy from DJI said just the battery and the bird. One guy said everything should go back in the original box. The website says just bird and battery. Not sure who to trust. I'm on a tight turn...

Thanks - I looked at the damage on mine a bit more. It was worse than I thought. I'm sending it to DJI. Looks like one of the ribbons tore and the rubber bands got stretched.
