Depends what you use it for. If you are taking it while you travel on need portability the mavic for sure. If portability doesn't matter then go with the phantom.

I got my December 8 Apple Store pickup mavic just now. Definitely drew the attention of all the Apple store employees. Several of them even said they thought they were finally going to get to buy a Mavic this morning only to realize it was an in-store pick up .... it might be challenging to...

As others have said this doesn't show all traffic. Actually it only show a small percentage of actual traffic in an area. Don't relay on this as your only means!

I am just assuming using some context clues. A lot of people who have ordered through apple will be receiving them tomorrow. I have no idea if they will have extras to walk in and buy but it might be worth a trip to the store tomorrow!

I don't think anyone has confirmed with apple but a lot of us who have bought through apple and used the in store pickup option will have the mavic tomorrow. Just using some context clues says apple must have a large shipment coming in. Now, no one know if they will actually have any available...

It seems like apple is getting a large shipment tomorrow. Anyone that doesn't have a mavic on order should stop in a local apple store tomorrow. Might get lucky!

Ha ok got ya. And yea will do. I will try and pick up a battery if they have them but I'm in no rush for that! Tomorrow is going to be a good day!

Ha that's all good. I actually checked my Apple page and mine is available tomorrow as well, originally showed January 25 2017. So I am happy. Atlantic City NJ for me.
