In love... but only since running with the FCC mod - CE was too limiting. I'll be checking out the MP2 (against marital advice) but will probably stick with MA just for sheer portability. Being able to transport *everything* in the FMC bag (even after adding a fourth battery!) is just incredible.

This sounds like a fault. Can easily reach 2Km without issue (been to 2.6Km, can literally circle the entire village) and wind never been a problem to 30mph gusts. Likewise with pano stitching bu t I can see how strong wind PLUS pano stitching could be an issue but never seen it.

Top tip: Learn to use the compass. I've found it to be VERY directional once you get any significant distance and quite often the drone isn't in the direction you would expect it to be. 2.6Km my max so far.

I saw this on YouTube last night (Dustin makes great videos and is very entertaining) but thought the title was rather misleading. It didn't fly out 6 miles. 6 miles there and back, maybe, but that's not really the point of range tests. Still worth a watch though ;-)

If you're on Mac check out the free iMovie (on the App Store). I needed exactly the same thing yesterday and it worked a treat. Added some titles and a fade-in/fade-out just to round it out.

I've been up in gusts up to 30mph and it was 'okay' but I wouldn't want to go much higher. It felt like this was the limit. There's also the increased risk of running out of juice on the return to home if you fly out downwind.

So... this is going to be SOOO cool to demo to friends and family ;-)
