I would say "No" as the fabric on hot air balloons is made out of ripstop nylon and/or dacron. I've used this stuff for parachutes in amatuer rockets and it'll take a ton of abuse. I'd be surprised if you could even cut the stuff with the props.
I've had a Mavic Pro for over 2 years now and I'm closing in on 600 miles of flight distance. I've not had any problems hardware wise with the MP, the goggles (which I love) or the CrystalSky. The only problem I've had is with the latest firmware release and I just backed up a release to solve...
I actually have the other side of this problem. When I go to release my batteries, I have to sort of wiggle them out of the MP while holding in the release buttons. They fit very snuggly to say the least. But I've heard others say that their batteries are actually sort of loose when they're...
I've been flying an MP for a couple of years. When I started out, I had to do a lot of learning to get the shots right. But I get great photos/videos out of my MP so it might just be a setup/configuration issue that you need to tinker with.
I think I'm just going to stay with 300 this summer as I don't want to waste any more time on trying to figure this out. Maybe this winter I'll sit down and try to run through flashing everything again to see if I can figure out the problem. But I've been flying for the last few weeks (daily)...
Just curious as I had this happen to me for some time a while back and then it seemed to go away (with me doing nothing to fix it). Do you do your intial tap focus immediately after take off or after you've flown for a while? If memory serves me (and I'm old so maybe it no longer does), when I...
Welcome to the forum. I've flown in the Black Hills area in my travels and you'll have a blast with your new MP there. Looking forward to seeing some of your videos/photos from your travels.
On the DJI forum, they list the recommended life span of a battery at 200 charges, but that's just a recommendation. I believe that you will see that batteries that are well cared for and maintained last much longer than that. I keep an eye on my batteries to make sure none of them are swelling...
Very well done indeed! I wish more pilots would start out as you have done by a) doing all the research that they can before flying, b) making sure they are legal and c) starting with the basics of flight. I probably won't answer everything here, but there is a wealth of far more experienced...
