Ok, now it's making sense! So there are no DJI drones that have a genuine "optical zoom," meaning there's no "smooth zoom" using optical lenses... instead, there are just optical lenses that stay at fixed points... the only "smooth" zoom is a 28x digital zoom. Thank you again for all your help...
