Has anybody had any updates on remote ID units to use? I believer my mavic 3t and mini3 pro are firmware updating compliant. My understanding is that The I2 and I1 and phantom 4 are not. So I need to get a module to fly those.

A first person view monitor from a hobby store or shop would work. The one I have (which is really old) is powered by one of the USB type back up batteries.
I've had a couple DJI direct first release drone kits get delayed in customs for awhile. Coincidentally they got delayed in customs in Alaska. Maybe it is worse now, but it is probably luck of the draw as to customs requirements at the port of entry.
Nothing wrong with a little basic aerodynamics. Which would be important for fixed wing operations like the gentlemen above mentioned.
An interesting aside is that there have been reports in the news of sudden unexplained loss of altitudes and the like on commercial passenger flights...
My mini 3 pro gets hot too. I bought a little portabe fan to blow on it which keeps it fairly cool. You could use a laptop cooling fan pad too. It needs it. None of my other drones generate heat like that one.
That video is interesting. It looks like the fuel is coming out of the engines to me. So did the Russian pilot have to kill his engines to drop the fuel and then he was trying to restart them to burn the drone. I am sure the pilot didn't try to hit the drone intentionally that is potential...
The russian Jet hit the prop on the drone. At those air speeds there might have been some fairly immediate damage or destruction on both aircraft.
Seems like if it was carrying a sidewinder missile or two it would have the means to self destruct. The articles I have read said it went down...

Batteries have been the limitation for a long time. keeping my fingers crossed (and expectations low)
