I wanted to exercise my Mini 5 Pro and see what it could do. So far, I am very pleased with it and find it to be a real upgrade over my Mini 3 Pro. That's Minneapolis about 5 miles away in the background.

Thanks for your reply. I think this approach, to 3D print a model of a building, bridge, etc. would be of great value to a number of applications, particularly before a building is to be torn down. Plz keep me posted.

I know the location can be reset while flying. I used to do it all the time. I would take off on my yard which had a 100% tree canopy, fly across the street where it was open sky and reset the home point while hovering. I never actually tested it with a RTH as I always flew it back to me. I...

Or an alternative country to fly in? I was recently in Canada. There doesn’t seem to be a DJI-phobia there. Is that the result of clear thinking?

Is this an option? Fly to max altitude, reset the home point at that altitude, then fly up to a “new” max altitude.

We don’t know if the pilot had permission or not. I do know a pilot who has flown in a National Park with the required authorization.

Normally, I would agree with FLDave, but with supplies and future supplies of DJI equipment being so uncertain, I think the market may experience the reverse.

There are some good videos online on how to load a Litchi mission into a Mini 5 Pro, et. al. My question is: Can I use original Litchi to create the waypoints, or do I need Litchi Pilot to create the KMZ file?
