Bummer about your battery! I know how frustrating it is. I went through this exact same thing, and it took a total of about 6 weeks to get all of the replacement parts, and I live in the US. That said, I would still suggest sending the drone back. Even though it’s slight, damage has been done...

Incase anyone is interested in cross-checking their batteries s/n associated with my melted one, here it is.

It looks like the battery melt issue isn’t just an isolated incident. For anyone who is not following the other battery melting thread, here is a picture of mine. First time the battery was used on a brand new drone. Starting to sound like possibly a bad batch somewhere down the line.

As of 7/24, everything should have been up to date. I am very new at flying, so it’s possible I may have missed something. But I do know I updated the firmware the night before I flew it. Even if it wasn’t up to date, is it possible that a lack of being updated caused a cell to melt through...

It’s sad to see that this may be a trend. Yesterday I had the same issue during its 3rd total flight, 2nd battery ever. Does anyone know if going to a physical DJI authorized retailer/repair shop might expedite the replacement process? I hate the idea of possibly having to wait for a new one...
