I'm almost back. I'm in LA on a layover returning from Singapore and will get back to Lockport Monday morning. I'll need to unpack the Mavic, charge the batteries, and deal with the multiple software and firmware updates since it arrived. I probably will be ready to fly by next weekend.

As an update, FedEx will deliver today to my home in Buffalo, NY. The FedEx notice indicates the Mavic was shipped directly from China. Order date was Oct. 27. First delivery attempt (nobody home) was Nov. 3. I ordered directly from DJI.

I ordered the MPP on 10/27 directly from DJI and FedEx tried to deliver today (although nobody was home, sadly). I don't know if there is a preference for the MPP or drone-only package. It might just depend on their most recent production run.

FedEx tried to deliver this morning (Friday am in Buffalo) after saying they were going to deliver Monday. Had to leave a note on the door. They say they'll come back Monday at the time they originally said they would deliver. My wife plans to be there during that time. I hope it works out...

I hope we all realize that we're early adopters and probably beta testers. :rolleyes: In some ways, not being able to fly my Mavic Pro Platinum until early December will give the rest of you devotees a chance to find the bugs and get DJI to issue an update to the firmware.

I ordered the Mavic Pro Platinum Fly More Combo directly from DJI on October 29 to be sent to my home near Buffalo, NY. I received a FedEx notice that they will deliver it before 10:30 am Monday, November 6.

I'm sorry about your experience. Given all I've read, the quick shipment from DJI surprised me. Good luck. I hope you get your order soon.
