Are you aware of the regs and laws as to where and when you can fly your drone? If not, a guy put up a really good post titled "The Rules". They are really pretty simple. You might want to check it out before you do something like this.

It will be a pretty big fine here in the States if he is caught. The way to fix this video is to not take it.

Maybe he is saying that in Aus, people tend to fly legally, and responsibly, and stuff? And that if too many people did what many do here, they would be shut down. Of course that could never happen here in the states, because drone pilots are held in such high regard. Right?

I don't know about Aus, but here in the States, we do allow idiots and children to fly these things. And they call this having guts?

Yeah, or "People who actually know something about flying, and the rules that apply to drones." As opposed to "Genius Adventurers who fly drones by their own rules, because, what are the odds" or some such thing.

Actually, when you said it was too vague to be enforced, and he showed 23 enforcements, I'm pretty sure your argument is the debunked one. It doesn't help when you admit you aren't even going to read them. It sounds like you already have your opinion, don't want to be confused by the facts...

As a full time pilot, I do not worry about drone pilots being "wrapped up in the laws" and " worrying about violations". If the rules are as posted in this thread, they seem extremely simple to understand and follow. Especially when compared to the rules I have to deal with. The ones who...
