That's absolutely correct But to have roughly same lift at similar rpm on 4 blades as on 2 either pitch and or diameter would be smaller incurring even greater loss in efficiency. And it doesn't look like there's a decrease in diameter. Pitch is harder to judge. Let's hope it all pans out...

Ordered some. Mini 2 is already pretty quiet but any improvement in that regard is welcome. Also the claimed power reserve will hopefully make my Mini 2 handle Insta360 One X2 a bit better. And yes I know it's a crazy load for such small quad... but it actually works reasonably well.

Actually thanks to it being open source it's easier to code for and resolve issues. And it has significant amount of abstraction to work well across multitude of devices. And it's not as much of issue of coding but with such multitude of device validating for every device is resource intensive...
