That’s the take off icon. You press that and a big take off button appears. You press and hold that and a circle goes round it in about a second. If the circle completes and you let go the propellers start and it takes off and hovers to about 1.2 metres. It’s helpful for hand launching.
Lol. I’ve heard that one about slapping minis before. I’m not sure beating up the Air 2 will work but I’ve certainly felt like threatening it with violence! I sent it away to be diagnosed and they reckon it’s the camera cable so I’ve got one on order (the wanted £141 to swap it and I’m not...
Hi, thanks for your reply. The camera has been fine before this. It’s over a year old so not under warranty unfortunately. I spoke to someone at DJI support who advised me to send it in to the Netherlands, as there is no service centre in the UK, at my own risk (which is a bad idea given the...
Apologies if this problem has been discussed anywhere but I can’t find it despite looking everywhere I could think of.
A couple of weeks ago I got my MA2 ready to fly as usual, but on attaching the iPhone X to the controller and booting up there was no camera view, just a blank image. All the...
Right. In that case it might be something to do with the radio signal. Someone may be using an illegal equipment such as a linear amplifier or such. In which case the drone may get confused if it’s either receiving conflicting signals or just overloaded.
It really sucks but my guess would be those possibilities I have stated. I know where I live shot down drones have a tendency to be kept almost as trophies. The local game farm encourages their staff to shoot any down as they don’t want footage of their operation being shared.
I hate to say it but it sounds like something took it down. Either a collision (bird, tree, building etc) or something has hit it. Depending on the nature of where you were flying different things are most likely. Near me shotguns and geese are the main culprits. If it was returning before...
Did you set up the RTH parameters for the flight you were conducting (I.e. the height) taking into account the height of the trees and building in between and also the change in ground height? How many satellites was it connected to before you lost it?
Is it possible some external factor caused...
I’d agree the most likely cause was a bird strike. Aquatic birds seem the most likely to be involved in drone strikes (I’m looking at you geese). They are big and heavy birds. Even a seagull has some weight to them and can’t seem to resist having a look at drones.
The point of the video where...
