Maybe it can.. but how would you connect a DJI controller to it? I mean, sure, maybe the USB port mode is correct and it's supported, but I wouldn't bet on it. Please report back if you get it to work :)
Hmm, I don't quite follow? I you tap the output before logic board the system wouldn't even know it had 4w additional load, and surely there is more than enough headroom for that from the battery..? Or ah, you mean the output from the core board? That shouldn't be very hard if you have a hot air...
Very good point! And that can very tricky to achieve now that I think about it, might need root on the device to do it reliably, and rootable droid devices are getting harder an harder to come by.. And the ones that are rootable are kind of crap and I wouldn't consider connecting one to my home...
As I've talked about in other threads, and done out of necessity because of core board damage, is something that might be of interest. There are multiplexers present on the core board to combine the RF output from the wifi board and core board RF. If anyone has access to a radio lab it would be...
Side loading might be an issue depending on which box (I assume you are talking about set top boxes?) we are talking about. But generally yeah, it should be doable, but I expect you will have issues with the app GUI. Be prepared to navigate with a mouse and keyboard. I would recommend using a...
I just got MAS props for my MP too, the packaging is excellent without being overly designed, and the quality / fit & finish of the props seems superb compared to even the DJI stock props. Will try them out this weekend but I have high hopes.
Weighing anything at all without calibrating the scale is pointless. Scales that are not possible to calibrate are useless from the factory :) And calculating the weight of paint is very hard when dealing with such a small surface area and thin coats, it all depends on the composition, while a...
Has someone tried actually just.. cutting the +5v? I don't think it's needed in this case as the device listens to the serial connection pins, mayhaps the +5v is needed to make the device automatically start identification of the connected device, but.. Is that really needed?
Edit: missed the...
Glue is not necessary, use a little piece of double sided tape if you really want to fixate the antennas, but it's really not necessary, they are pretty snug in there without adhesive and PCB antennas like these are not sensitive to vibration anyway.
The S5 was likely removed because of the Android OS version. The S5 (witout custom firmware) runs Marshmallow and backporting code to support that is simply not viable and requires the use of deprecated libs and packages and the use of a very old SDK. :(
It's strange however that DJI seems to...
Im running a set of cheap VR-goggles for smartphones and a phone with a high res display (S10+, or S7) and Litchi. This works very very well for the price. Sure the latency is pretty high, but as a Mavic Pro is hardly a racing drone I'm not finding this to be an issue. Resolution is more than...
