I've said this before but I think it bears repeating. If a drone does not get a valid FCC DoC then the serial number cannot be entered into the FAA database and therefore cannot be registered. Obviously drones that already have a valid DoC are...

QDespite the wording of the warning message, my battery did not overheat. It was a false alarm . But that didn't stop the system restricting the power available to bring the drone home.

QDJI service centre got back to me and will replace the battery. They say they have seen a similar case and believe something in the battery is causing a false alarm which restricts power.

I totally missed the PLUS when I was searching and ordered. I'll pick one or two up after the holidays. I'm excited that I could get the 5 before they could possibly become unavailable.
