    ESC Status Error

Each Electronic Speed Controller in DJI drones has its own micro-controller. These ESC micro-controllers talk to Flight controller. The "ESC Status Error" happens in these cases: * The ESC uC does not respond to messages from FC (ie. got disconnected by board damage, or did not booted by FW...

    DJI Battery Cycles; Definition

DJI has its own definition? That's surprising, considering they use chips based on SBS Specification. The SBS Specification is public: The TI BQ-series chips which DJI uses do expand on that definition, introducing Cycle Count Percentage and Cycle Capacity Type: So I guess what DJI did was...

    DJI 4g cellular module dongle

Right, that was a mistake since it doesn't work on all networks - it needs LTE. LTE is the data transfer standard which is a part of 4G cell network standard. So many places which still rely on 2.5G in unpopulated areas, or didn't moved from 3G yet, will not provide connectivity through that module.

    DJI 4g cellular module dongle

Make a list of all countries, then search the net for "countries without cellular network" and scratch these out.

After reseting phantom4 battery and clearing PF flags, Battery Authentication Error

Interesting. Did you do anything to the uC? Because uC does the auth. Or maybe the uC asks the BMS for something before announcing "auth ok"? Did you changed any keys? DJI Firmware update package contains uC firmware. Other question that come to mind: If you block battery communication to...

Modify old phone for drone flying.

You can also stop the services via ADB, and test then.

Modify old phone for drone flying.

is ARM64 - will work without such strict debloat. is arm32 aka armeabi - will not work either way. if you somehow still need the answer: Which country is the drone coming from? Are Google services popular there?

bricked firmware (doesn't connect to dji assistant)

Yes, though by modules I ment single chips: O-Gs wiki - introduction There is `comm_serialtalk.py`, but you have to really know what you're doing to use it. I don't think there's a ready solution which could ping all the modules. But I didn't used any of the paid tools, so maybe there...

bricked firmware (doesn't connect to dji assistant)

Figure out which module isn't booting, then you can start thinking about flashing it manually or repairing in other way.

Offline maps way too small !?

Ok then. I downloaded a map of my country a few years ago - not any DJI map though, just a standard WMS protocol tiles which can be then used for `mapserver` or merged together and opened with `QGIS`. I used a few scripts I found on Github. The source of the maps was Geoportal, and resolution...

    Software remove 40011?

Many repair companies keep their methods as kind of "trade secret". Like their business would fall if everyone knew how they do stuff. They seem to be oblivious to the world trends and how much they are hurting their general market. Anyway, I'm not really up-to-date with these, but in the past...

not be able to degrade firmfare of dji mini2 from 01.06.0200

DJI now uses custom silicon, so not sure. O-Gs might know. But before they used Leadcore LC1860C, and for that chip: (auto-translated from Chinese)

not be able to degrade firmfare of dji mini2 from 01.06.0200

That's a strange way of telling this. There was an ability to flash any firmware. Because this is how software works. Now, there is no such ability. Not because the previous feature was "discontinued" or "no longer supported", there was actually no feature. Instead, some engineers at DJI...

not be able to degrade firmfare of dji mini2 from 01.06.0200

I can assure you that the injected charges which keep zeroes and ones written on NAND or NOR flash will degrade, with or without your tries. Though it might take like 20 years. As for downgrade of the firmware - DJI hates people doing that, so they added a hardware lock - a few fuses, which...
