    Best Backpack out there??

I don't have a "perfect" backpack - out and about I use a Lowepro tactic aw 350 (mavic, 5 batteries, sony a6000 + 18-105, 55-210, Samyang 12mm, RX100 and spare camera batteries, powerbank, etc) when for going on the plane I use the FlyMore bag and another case to fit just the lenses and body in...

Litchi tips and tricks - please submit yours

I love this one, how did you set this up as a program? is it a manually created waypoint mission with curved waypoint paths setting out the 3D spiral?

How to load Mavic batteries in the mountains?

If I didn't have enough Mavic batteries to cover the trip, and I didn't have a 12V generator, I'd be using a bunch of cheap low C, high mAh rating LiPos hooked to the car charger. Li ion cells like 18650s would likely beat those for cost and energy density, but takes more effort.

Motor Pitch Gimbal stuck / sand

I would pull it apart and pack blu-tack into the motor bells to remove the iron sand, compressed air won't blow out much since the magnets in the motors are so strong. (I've done this to a drone that fell in the same sort of sand in New Zealand, it is not good) You probably should check inside...

    Drone Emergency Brakes

I use opposite stick to the motion, and maybe an upwards punch depending on situation/why I need to stop suddenly. They're angle limited, so braking thrust can only reach a certain limit without also changing altitude.

Which props lift more? Pro vs Platinum

AFAIK the newer prop tips are a better design, they don't have the messy vortices off the tips like the old ones do - compare the "bullnose" props that were popular amongst FPV racers - more thrust at the expense of noise and power usage.

Dji Mavic Pro Carbon Fiber Quick Release Propeller Props

it will just tumble to the ground. You can't really control a quad that has lost a prop - we could if there were fully reversible pitch props and ESC. 2 motors turning in the same direction will tend to spin the craft around - if the motor diagonally opposite the broken motor can immediately...

How many Mavic Pro batteries do you have? Is having 5 overkill?

You can fit 5 in the FlyMore bag, I do with mine.

    Adjusting EV

I set my shutter speed first, either for regular or slow-mo, get the ISO I want, then ND filter it down if required. High shutter speed gives it that 'soap opera' effect,

How many Mavic Pro batteries do you have? Is having 5 overkill?

I run 5, it's a _lot_ of time to get through those. Ive seen people say you can do 3 continuous, 1 flying, 1 waiting, 1 charging - but I would rather let them cool before going on the charger.

    Sand particles in motor

I wish I could tell you how to do it on the Mavic, but I did it on a 2204 motor not a Mavic. If you get it done, please post the steps here.

    Sand particles in motor

It's all relative motion ;) My logic goes: lowering the drone to the hand lets it pick up the hand with the sensors and I don't know whether that lets it lock position better, but at least I don't have to worry about sensors on or off, or grabbing it before it jumps away. I think reaching...

    Sand particles in motor

You don't move your hand to it, lower _it_ onto your hand. Regarding the sand in the motor: don't fly like that, if you can feel any grit, then it's grinding the coating off something in the motor. Replace the motor or take the motor bell off and clean out the motor with bluetac / putty. Pack...

How long before preventative laws make drone flying as boring as everything else again?

The only one I've encountered where you can't take your drone as carry-on is Emirates when flying through Dubai - though this is possibly more to do with the Dubai terminal security folk, the check-in in Sydney assured me it was fine in carry-on, but I've read others had issue at the scanners...
