Air 2s Thailand / Explore Samui - Top location Choeng Mon 2022

Very nice footage! I’m going back to Ko Samui next week. Haven’t been there since 1999. I was considering staying at the Melia Resort. Your video might have sealed the deal!

Has anyone taken the drone into Thailand recently?

I have never brought a drone into Thailand, but this might be of some help. https://thaiembdc.org/registration-needed-for-drones-brought-on-holiday-to-thailand/

    Certified drone technicians

Thanks for the info. I am a A&P mechanic and would like to study, learn and obtain a Drone Technician Certification if it ever becomes available again. Let me know if you ever hear anything about it in the future.

    Certified drone technicians

3 Hawaii - Compilation of Stunning Shades of Blue

Absolutely stunning footage of a beautiful area of the planet! Nothing deflates my stress like spending time near the water in Hawaii. Thanks for taking my stress away for a little while today! I feel like I just had a mini vacation.

Got a call from FAA today...do I really need my Part 107?

I also remember the term “for the betterment of a business” somewhere in my Part 107 studying materials, (but I can’t recall where). From this I understand that even if someone else would use your drone photos/videos for their own YouTube channel, you would have to be Part 107 certified because...

Got a call from FAA today...do I really need my Part 107?

On the FAA website there is a “User Identification Tool” to help determine if you need a Part 107 Certificate. https://www.faa.gov/uas/getting_started/user_identification_tool/ Hope this helps!

Photos for Counting Cars at shopping plaza

I tried to attache a couple of contextual photos, but the files where too big. I was able to capture about 50% of the photos from birds eye view, mostly when that area of the lot was mostly empty and no people below. The rest I captured while hovering over the trees or buildings.

Thanks for sharing the photos! That helps me a lot! I think I can obtain the data they want with the camera angled up just a little.

I thought there was software that did the counting for you, but I guess they don’t have it.

I appreciate your perspective, and do understand where you are coming from. But, having worked for an aviation defense law firm for a short time years ago, and currently holding other FAA certificates for over 30 years, the FAA means “generally” not over people until your drone drops out of the...
