Thought I had the dji assistant app worked out, but apparently not.... Ran as admin and followed all the instructions on getting it to work... Worked for the first update, but now refuses to load any data from their server (software or calibration)...So entirely unusable... Tried to uninstall...

I was thinking that should be the first thing I should try.

Getting a few sensor errors that stops my bird in both p mode and s mode in-flight with no explanation...Any suggestions? Also the camera button on my RC only auto focuses, and refuses to take a picture...Have to us the onscreen button to take a picture.

I find the Mavic 2 much better and heftier build then the Mavic 1, my opinion anyway....

It was the best deal out of the other junk they were selling at Walmart... Most of the others were cheap junk or chrome books. Just an FWI for people upgrading to Windows 10, you have to load the DJI assistant 2 program as administrator or it won't load the drivers properly...

Thanks, just spend $850 on an HP Pavilion i5:p Got the download done successfully through the assistant 2 program on windows 10. Just need it to quit snowing and do a compass calibration and I'll be GTG.

I only have a tablet and a smartphone, I have no use for a computer... I'm more concerned with the RC flickering disconnected to connected with no explanation... I thought DJI said they fixed the network to allow downloading software through the app? I'll try reloading the app...

Been snowing here so not too many good days to get to do this.. Finally had a good day to unpack the 2 zoom for the first time but start ups been a $#%&... The update will not connect to network and the app continually goes from showing my RC connected to disconnected, like a flicker... Wtf...

No they will not... The Mavic 1 were pressure fit, the Mavic 2 Zoom filters are threaded on...Also the front glass is bigger on the Mavic 2 Zoom...

If you have a mavic 1 you can 2x digital zoom, but the quality is atrocious....I'd hazard a guess and say its lower then 480p at 2x on live feed:D

You'll notice no difference in image quality on your phone in real time from 24mm to 96mm...The cropped zoom is lossless in 1080p format (real time feed rate)... Like I said alot of people don't do post...

Your thinking for photos...Yes the additional 2x is cropped and you will see a lose in quality if you were to go and get them printed...For FHD (1080p) video and the live feed on your phone the 4x Zoom is lossless on image quality as your aspect is 1080p and no higher on live feed.
