Have You Flown Southern Caribbean Grand Cayman - Aruba - Curacao

Yes.... I'm going to order a SIM card on their web site (SETAR) a couple weeks before my arrival. They won't send one to me but, I can get a local Aruba number at the time of ordering. All I need to do is once I get there is to present my email confirmation them. SETAR is a main carrier there...

This way we can take our time and do whatever. Plus, driving is on the right side like here in the US...

DJI Mavic Air Charging port broken

I realize this is an older thread but, you have the best fix I've seen for using the poorly designed DJI port. My oem charging adapter fits loose and I have to set the cord just right for my RC to charge. As far as I can see, nothings wrong with the RC tab. Upon connecting the same adapter as...

I'm all set for Aruba and Curacao...... As for the Cayman Islands, they don't want to respond after three weeks and two emails. You definatily need permission to fly in both Aruba & Curacao.

Have You Flown Southern Caribbean Grand Cayman - Aruba - Curacao

I went ahead and asked for recreational registration papers for Oranjestad, Aruba this morning with the DCAA. After visiting UAVcoach the biggest hang up I see under the General Rules for Flying is; A local mobile telephone number (international number will not be accepted) where the operator...

Thanks for the heads up on Griff & Alyssa.... I will definatily check them out. As for paperwork, I wouldn't even try flying without it. I received all my paperwork for Curacao within two days. I have read about others that waited for several weeks in older threads/posts. Either I got lucky...
