Being an amateur astrophotographer, I must say the thought never occurred to me to try this. It seems stable enough though!! Not a bad attempt at all!!!

Thank you. Yes it was. I kept having to wipe the camera down every time I sent her up. I wiped the entire thing down when I got home.

Captured this shot and a bunch of footage with my Mavic. It looks like I'm thousands of feet up but only at 410 feet. Was a dense fog bank in Illinois. Had to punch through the bank to get the shot. Made for some tense flying!!! Been lurking here for a while. Thought I'd introduce myself...
