I had a similar problem about a month ago. The iPad app would disconnect several time during flight but the controller was still connected to my Mavic 2 Pro. After the second time it happened I threw away the cable and bought a new one. No more disconnect problems after several dozen flights.

I’m very happy with me PolarPro gimbal cover for my Mavic 2 Pro. After a couple of uses it’s now very easy to attach. I had another non-DJI cover and the front pieces broke after 2 flights. No probs with the PolarPro cover after dozens of flights.

My community strings fishing line across the pond. The line is about 2 feet above the water and is repeated about every 10-15 feet. No idea how the geese can sense these almost invisible lines, but they do keep the geese away.
