flying in hawaii big island & national parks
Don't forget to check out the northern side of the island. We got a bunch of little off-road trails along the ocean far from NFZs. The valleys are also a nice place to fly when it isn't windy. Here's a little clip of a scenic spot we go to often. -

So how many batteries do you have for your Mav?
6 although I burn thru 3 batteries easily ill usually use 1 with the USB adapter as a power bank to charge my RC and iPad/iPhone when I'm driving to a different location to fly.
