When the weather is hot, make sure you remove any cover that might be on your phone. It help to keep your phone from overheating. I’m in Florida and I learned that from experience.

I got my MA2 in September, updated at that time but haven’t updated since. It does all I want it to do, works perfectly, and no problems. I like consistency and no surprises. If any problem develops, I’ll update.

It looks to me like it's from a small remote controlled plane. I used to pilot a Cessna and I'll never forget the time a small remote controlled plane zipped by me about 100 feet below me. Scared the crap out of me! This was near the airport in PA where I was landing, so I was at about 1000 feet.

I'm using the iPhone 7S with no problem. I'll be getting the iPhone 12, but when I do, I'll dedicate the 7S to my Mavic Air 2 without any cellular service.
