Howdy from Strathmore! I bought an MA1 at Costco but returned it when the MA2 was announced. The waiting was killing me so I picked up a Mini last week which is great because I live in a heliport zone and can still legally fly it around my neighborhood. Hoping to pick up my MA2 on tomorrow.
Hello from Alberta!
Definitely no flying in national parks. The size of the drone does not matter, it is still not allowed. I am not sure about BC, but in Alberta flying in provincial parks is also not allowed.
Even though you do not need a license to fly the Mini, it might be worth while...
Thanks! I actually downloaded the manual and started into it while I was waiting for my drone to be delivered. May as well kill some time and continue reading it since I can't fly.
I just purchased my first drone, a Mavic Air. The weather here has not been great and I have only flown a couple of times, but things are looking better for next week.
I look forward to learning lots from you seasoned veterans!
