    Connecting iPhone with mini4

Use a cable and go direct from M4P to phone. Would probably be a heckofalot faster than BT. With BT from what I understand you have to be connected by both WiFI AND BT AND also go through the DJI Fly App. Cable seems simpler.

    Alternative waypoint mapping

If you are asking if the RC-N2 (NOT RC-N1) controller (without screen) will work with waypoints on an iPad, then yes. That's why I sold off my RC2 for an RC-N2. I really dislike the RC2 for a LOT of reasons including the tiny screen. lousy res and bad 76yr old eyes. I much preferred to use...

    Alternative waypoint mapping

I did find a kind of weird way to accomplish that. Pretty sure it only works on Android, have not tried IOS. I configured TEAMVIEWER on my MAC as remote control for my Samsung S22 ULTRA and was able to use the S22 full screen on my 32" monitor using the mouse. There was some slight lag but...

Do skins for M4P create extra drag & does anyone have them on theirs?

LOL! They make it look SO easy! :D. I have never done well applying skins on anything I have ever tried. For me they usually look just OK but never "just right" especially on the "legs". My hands (and patience) aren't as steady as they were in my "earlier days."

Do skins for M4P create extra drag & does anyone have them on theirs?

Makes it an expensive skin! ~$125.

Do skins for M4P create extra drag & does anyone have them on theirs?

Don't know about drag, but if one is using the "standard" (small) battery you now have to buy an RID external device (since it is disabled with the "standard" (small) battery AND register it with the FAA. Or one can spend a hundred bucks and buy the larger battery to enable RID and still have...

    M3P RFID disabled w/ 249gr battery?

You are missing the point of my "fix". :). Since DJI can sense from their intelligent battery (or the drone itself) that the small battery is installed and automatically and forcibly TURN OFF or basically LEAVE OFF RID (which I am sure the Feds would prefer to be on all the time anyway) they...

    RID ?

You really think they did anyone a favor by adding RID ?? Really ?? I'd think the FEDs had a little something to do with it. Reading this forum and a few others, reading the reviews and watching Youtube it sure SEEMS like a lot LESS than 95% of the Mini 4 *PRO* users buy it strictly for...

    M3P RFID disabled w/ 249gr battery?

My "suggestion" (for what it's worth which is likely nothing) is maybe DJI can have a software workaround by allowing the user to set a software switch saying they have the larger battery installed when they don't thereby turning RID on. That would avoid the illegality of allowing a consumer to...

    RID ?

Right, and that doesn't change my opinion of the "system." Either way it puts the owner out of pocket about $100 just to "legally" add a set of prop guards. Maybe DJI can have a software workaround by allowing the user to set a software switch saying they have the larger battery when they...
