thanks for the information ... i started that online process just to see how it was. I will note that i found a way to bypass/make the gimbal calibrate... that is, power on while holding craft pointing forward and turning on it's side while calibration occurs. not ideal but think i'll fly it...
Hi... I just started having this same gimbal knocking problem at start up and i've never had any problems with mine either... She had to be out of an early batch too, when they were backorder for months in the beginning.
you just sent it in with an explanation and they sent a new just like...
mine too was with the latest update. will also note that all updates were completed in order as they came out which from what i understand is the standard.
I update firmware with direct connection to macbook successfully. During preflight checks to fly in the dji app on iPhone I still get alerts to update the same version of firmware. What gives? I'd rather do all firmware updates with direct connection to macbook to avoid memory usage on phone...
Did you do any calibrations? I'm wondering what the affects of recalibrating everything will be as this problem only came up after a recalibration of the sensors. Another factor being the iPhone update.
i received this message today too. Nothing more on it? Happened where i always fly. A couple factors.... received message after recalibrating optical sensors bc of downward sensor error message, software update of iPhone 5s... yeh its a 5s but never had a problem. Always fly in airplane mode...
