Practicing with a simulator also helps. I used Absolute RC to learn single rotor heli’s on my iPad. The graphics are lame but the controls and flight models are solid. They also have a few drones, more emphasis on racing drones but you can work on your confidence and not worry about crashing.

Checking in from ATL... well, “metro” ATL at least. I finally got my first proper drone (MA2) after years of flying smaller RC helis and quads. Can’t wait to dive deeper into aerial photography!
