If I can buy just a bare unit then maybe, at the moment only the upgrade I would use is the lidar,the smaller sensor not a problem really still get great shots,some other upgrades could be added to the Air3 by future updates like the tracking and file transfer while not powered up

The mods might be struggling to get through hack work on newer firmware,can't say I need it on my air3

The air3 is fine as it is ,at the minute it's a no brainer to buy the air3 at the discounted price,otherwise get the mavic 3

Yes I did mine Thursday run djiexe then updated to 03. 1400 then did hack again got the firmware patched

It worked so it's no loss
