I land on my open bow boat in the bow with the filler cushion all the time. The key for me is to drop the Mavic 2 Pro into tripod mode before landing. I've even done it in the dark. Just take your time . . . tripod mode really helps to make sure you're lined up.

I have aa 26' deck boat. When I fly my Mavic 2 Pro, I use the fill cushion in the bow which makes a nice platform for take off and landing. On landing, I have boat in neutral and just slowly maneuver the drone over the bow. It's definitely harder in rougher waters and windy days but I like it...

No filter for this shot as it was pretty dark when I started and I under exposed by a full stop.

Essentially, that's it. I retimed 20 minutes of video into 20 seconds. Once retimed, I exported the clip and reimported as new media in order to be able to stabilize the video.

Gradually, I'm learning more and more about Final Cut Pro and the sequence to produce smooth timelapses even on windier days.
