Good news on flying drones in National Parks in Thailand

The "worth" is based on the risks. The penalty for flying an unregistered drone in Thailand can be up to five years in prison and/or a fine of up to 100,000 baht. This applies to all drones with cameras, including those used for hobby purposes. Spend a few 1,000 baht and be legal and safe.

Good news on flying drones in National Parks in Thailand

Would you drive without a driver's license, even for a short trip?? "Is it worth it" boils down to your willingness to pay a very steep fine. The penalty for flying an unregistered drone in Thailand can be up to five years in prison and/or a fine of up to 100,000 baht. This applies to all...

    Hello from Bangkok

Check out FB Group - คนชอบโดรน : Drone Lovers !!! I post there sometimes. The group admin is a PhD and advocate for drones in Thailand. We sometimes work with Universities students. We meet to fly pretty often. He flys more than I. You can post your interests there too.

Beware Fake eBay Mavic Pro low-noise blades

Buyer beware, even in a DJI (Authorized Reseller) shop. I paid $29 for two pair of DJI Low-Noise Propellers from a DJI shop in Thailand. The tips are silver. I ordered two pairs of Low-Noise Propellers online (copies obviously) for $12. The tips are gold.

Buying Mavic Pro From Hong Kong

I only posted the information. I don't work for DJI. Sorry. Not sure it you have access to LAzada, but they sell DJI products and accessories. They might ship to you. Check.

    Ocusync vs Lightbridge

I didn't invent peanut butter or jelly, but I make a mean sandwich! GIve DJI some credit. Their products did not appear by accident.

    Dji goggles.....big disappointment

I have the bug, but will visit the store to try them on myself. Many are right about the uniqueness wearing off. I know that I won't be able to fly alone with them. Spotter and all that!

    DJI GOGGLES

$1.50 reading glasses are the answer. Go to the drug store and try on different strengths until you can read clearly at 10 inches. Measure the distance! If unsure, but a couple pair of different strengths. Then try them wearing the goggles. Most reading glasses are lightweight with small...

Yet another bad news story for our hobby

Misinformation and fake news help pay the bills. Sadly they also cause people to overreact and laws to be enacted when not needed. Fear wins over logic every time!

Poll: Restricted flight in Firmware .800

Occasionally a NFZ warning will appear and disappear when I am nowhere near any restricted areas. The suggestion to overlay all NFZ over the HERE maps is a good one.

Who wants to buy my goggles, they suck.

Are you serious? $50 goggles with a sharper screen than 1080p DJI goggles? Please provide a link.

    Live streaming problem

I've never gotten live streaming to work well on either DJI Go 4 or Litchi. I've reduced the size and quality of the videos, but fps fluctuates greatly. Posting on Facebook is terrible! One recent video appears to play at 1 frame every 2 secs. Audio is totally garbled.

    Mavic / Litchi and Panomode

Litchi Pano is working perfectly. I do have to plan my flights as 42 photos (recommended) eats 35% to 40% of my battery. I'm using Hugin to stitch the photos and color correcting with Final Cut Pro. Each finished 360 photo takes about one hour total time to shot, stitch and edit. I post them...

    Mavic / Litchi and Panomode

I tired to fly a Litchi Pano mission yesterday. I am using a DJI Mavic Pro, LItchi (3.10.10) running on a Samsung Tab S2. I made sure that no apps were running in the background. I launched Litchi and it loaded normally. I took off and climbed to 50m. I positioned my MAvic over a spot near...
