To be precise, the launch point was 9200 feet from a bare mountaintop. Flight elevation above launch point was never higher than 50 feet. Full line of sight visibility in all directions. Safety first, to put BreezeAbroad's mind at rest.

I flew my MM at 9200' a couple weeks back and although I got the standard warnings, it performed like a champ. :)

Nice! You got that little drone into a couple cool tight spots - well done! We shot the 2017 eclipse from the peak above Blue Lake. We love that mountain. :)

I've been flying my Mini for about a month and have learned a ton from this forum already. About time I introduced myself, I guess! Looks like a great group and thanks for all the terrific advice. So far, so good, with only one crash into a tree in low light. ;) Amazingly, no harm done even...
