Yes the range sucks big time with my Air 2S

I hope it works for you, I purchased the combo kit at great expense. The range sucks, but works great with the standard controller. I can only get 1400 feet with the smart controller. I fear the worst that this was a total waste of money!! I am flying the Air 2S a totally fabulous drone.

It is my undestanding that you have to be logged in to do an update. On my Smart Controller it states it is up-to-date as I always check. My Air 2S is also up-to-date. I don't think that there is a beginners mode on the controller!! The range on my standard controller is great, proves...

Thanks for your reply. My drone and Smart Controller are 100% up to date, yet the range sucks.

It is totally frustrating why this darn Smart Controller is failing in range, all I can get is 1400 feet and then I have to return home. My other normal controller is great but this Smart Controller is horrible. Am in talks with DJI but as always it's a waiting game. My drone is the Mavic Air 2S

What makes me really mad with DJI regarding the Mavic Pro Platinum and we all know this was not a cheap drone. The rediculous cheap plastic USB cover broke with very little use. The little tabs that guide the cover in both have broken off. So this just leaves the cover hanging there looking...

Can I only expect 16 minutes of flight time with these batteries that came with the drone Mini 2
