As I said, I'm not near any metal. It's happened in fields, on beaches, in the woods, with no metallic objects within hundred of metres. I do wear a watch, but it's fully titanium so non-magnetic. I can't be bothered to take my watch off every time I I have to fly the Air if it is that.

I have to do one maybe 8/10 times I turn on. I've done all the obvious, make sure I don't start near metal objects, no smart watch etc etc but it makes no difference. It's not really a problem, I'd rather it was calibrated than risk a fly-away. But it is annoying, especially when some of us...

The drones GPS has no effect on changing the RC to FCC mode, it takes all the location data from the connected mobile device.

I've not watched this myself yet, but it might be of help?

It should look at the POIs if you've set it up properly. Did you check that each WP was set to focus on a POI and not the default?

Flew mine for 1st time since changing to FCC. It's definitely an improvement, the feed back to my phone is just a lot more stable when I watch back the cached videos. I've not tried a range test, but not too fussed about range anyway. And yes, with the latest FW I still get the WiFi region...

Yes on Android, Samsung S8. I tried on Airplane mode, didn't work. Only way I got it to work was following the instructions above.

I can confirm that following the extra instructions above, I can now get FCC to work. Thumbswayup

That's the fastest I've had in sports mode, strong tail wind assisted. Coming back was a lot slower :D

I'm in UK. I tried OK and Dismiss but each time never got to the 11 channels I'll try again another day.

Have a look at Quadlock. You can get a self adhrsive mating part to stick on rear of RC.
