Any opinions on what to do?

I've personally decided to keep my mavic air because it's smaller and weighs less than the mavic air 2. Also, I like how small the controller is in comparison to the air 2 and I feel like the biggest upgrades are just photos which I really don't take very many of anyways while the video feature...

    Launch and return to boat

I believe if you calibrate the compass on land (away from the metal), as long as you set your home point to your moving location, you should be able to take off on the boat. I think the only purpose to calibrate the compass is to set it to your relative location. Your home point should be...

    Yes, or No! My dilemma

When ever you fly your MA, you should ALWAYS fly it within VLOS! Please don't be one of those people who ruins the sport for everyone else because you don't abide by the rules!

    Yes, or No! My dilemma

Well the air was released on January 23rd so if they are making a 2nd air, I would imagine it is released around the same time frame.

Mavic went ROGUE, and is gone

Yes, most insurance agencies will cover flyaways and lost drones. Mine only cost $50/ year through country ($5 for every $100 the product is worth) with no deductible.

Mine is through country but it's still pretty good.

    Yes, or No! My dilemma

If you're going to wait until next April to fly out, you may as well wait to buy it as well because they will probably have the Mavic Air 2 out by then

Mavic went ROGUE, and is gone

You can try to get it under warranty if you want but most likely will be denied which is why I and most other users on here have insurance. It's times when we least expect it that the worst happens and that's when it is nice to have insurance for those times, especially when it's that cheap. I'm...

Mavic went ROGUE, and is gone

That's why you have to get insurance, for flyaways. Usually only costs ~$60 annually and is totally with it!

Mavic went ROGUE, and is gone

DJI care refresh is something that you would have paid extra for, $89 extra bought from DJI and registered your drone with them. Insurance on the other hand is something that you have to pay from a private company like State Farm, ect.

Do you have DJI care refresh or drone insurance?

    Mavic Air vs. Mavic 2

Well, after having watched the press release today for the MP2 and M2Z, I am glad that I decided to purchase the MA. I agree that the these drones are much better than the og MP, but for a simple vlogger, I don't need all those fancy features that they provide. The MA is more than enough for...

    Mavic Air vs. Mavic 2

So I just got my Air a few days ago and it was able to finally fly it yesterday. I purchased the Mavic Air Fly More Combo from Amazon and it came with a couple of extra accessories not usually included with the FMC. They included prop bags for the extra props. When I bought my Pro last year, I...
