Drone Registration Drops By 50% since Remote ID rule published

If they would have had this from the start I/we wouldn't have lost most all of our flying freedom. I've watched my flying freedom dwindle since March 2017 from idiots like Casey making uboob videos breaking most every FAA drone rule(s).....people are still doing it. I'd say most people here...

Took this long for word to get around I suppose. All I care about is me anyway.

    Air worthiness certificate

That's on you. Is good to know the rules/laws no matter what your location is.

    red-tail hawk

I usually pack up and go to a different location miles away. Don't want to disturb wildlife habitats.

FAA Part 107 Study Materials (Welcome new drone pilots!)

Keep in mind that once you get your part 107 cert you still need to keep up with the new rules/laws.

Smashed drone, don't take off from a road.

Sorry neither one of you (yourself and the person driving the vehicle) wasn't paying attention. Good luck next time.

How do you judge "too windy"?

I don't have a mini 2 but most of what has been posted. I always check UAV forecast to get an idea what the wind speed is at higher elevations....most of all common sense. Most all fly aways are avoidable.

What's the best thing to do after you realize you shouldn't have flown up into that fog?

I Just love getting the weekly digests from this forum....

How long did you spend preparing for the Part 107 test? (non-pilots)

I wasn't in any hurry. I was taking care of my wife and just studied for a month 1-2 hours every few days. 86 I think it was on my testing and I took my time during the test for an hour and a half. This was back in October 2017. Recurrent April 6, 2021.

Local Restrictions, Does anyone other than the FAA have the right?

ya I agree. People need to plan ahead and find/call or whatever needs to be done to make sure so Barney doesn't come running. Don't just use an app/skyvector to see if you can fly there. I fly around my neighborhood a lot and I have 1 (one) that yelled at me saying don't fly over my house you...

Local Restrictions, Does anyone other than the FAA have the right?

I totally agree and this forum is not a or the Commercial pilot forum so most here are not 107 intelligible. So they don't think like that ....yet.

Local Restrictions, Does anyone other than the FAA have the right?

b4uoufly isn't a set in stone so to speak. They don't have all their info locally wherever you fly so don't look at b4youfly for that stuff. Do some research before you fly someplace like that before you even get ready to fly there. That's one of the problems, people don't research the places first.

Local Restrictions, Does anyone other than the FAA have the right?

ya I used to live in Anaheim and moved back to Missouri at the right time (2004). I doubt I could have taken off there now since all the idiots messed it all up Casey you were the worst. Youtube videos of them doing stupid stuff. It wouldn't be like this if "they" hadn't ruined it for us so the...

Local Restrictions, Does anyone other than the FAA have the right?

It has nothing to do with that. Idiots have been flying in places not allowed and I've watched my hobby/job flying freedom go down the tubes because of those idiots. They're the ones to blame not the FAA

Local Restrictions, Does anyone other than the FAA have the right?
