Private SEL/IFR/HiPerf here. Have owned a Cherokee 140 and Cherokee 6. 800-ish hours. Sold the 6 in 2012-too expensive with wife and 2 kids (one of which is special needs and has associated care expenses). Miss flying the real thing!

I gave up on this. I have the Apple Lightning/SD card reader (most recent version) and tried to upload Mavic video and still files to an iPhone 7Plus and an iPad Pro. The card is recognized fine in Photos on both. Usually the videos and still import with no problem, but sometimes I get an error...

Still there-go get 'em. I already have one so I'm set or I'd be ordering.

You can probably put a small piece of bubble wrap or other packaging material behind the gimbal during transportation until you can get a replacement clamp from DJI.

Just went to the Mavic from the Parrot Bebop 2. For me, if I get bored with the drone it just means I need to look for new places to fly.
