RC finally responded to my email. the rep that responded said they will keep the drone for the duration of the cruise, which is no bueno for me. It also conflicts with what I've read and heard.
asked for further clarification and no response. will trying calling next week .
any one know of mapping app, or perhaps a way to utilize google maps, to get a straight line distance between 2 points, as the mavic flys. I can do it on google maps but it wants to give me the driving, walking, etc. distances.
i have an impending cruise on Royal Carribean. my understanding is they reqire you to check in your drone and you get it back at each port.
my questions are:
If any one has done this, how easy/smooth is the process to check in/check out your drone?
has anyone able to slip their mavic past...
i concur, i think the size is perfect. i think if you get much smaller is probably can't handle the wind.
better camera & improve the gimbal and i'd be interested in the mav 2.
I'm trying to get into sport mode. read the threads, watched the youtube videos.. but I don't have the option to do "Muitple Flight Modes" in my app. Any suggestions.... Am i missing something?

I am heading up to the mountains to fly. Reading some of the threads, there is reference to having a max altitude above ground level. How do I adjust the settings so the drone adjusts its altitude limit as the terrain ascends (i.e. as you fy up the side of the mountain)?
just an fyi, costco's drone policy is rigid 90 return policy. its not their normall policy
