There is a lot of stupid behavior that many people feel is not met with commensurate punishment. Perhaps we can leave the discussion of those things not directly related to drones for other, more relevant forums.

Selfish and condescending doesn't even begin to cover it. Fire fighting water tankers and helicopters have been forced to land because of fools, idiots--and I should also add, criminals--flying drones in active fire zones.

I for one will be selling my Mavic 2 Zoom and not be flying a drone with RID. Right or wrong, it is my personal belief that there is too much ignorance and animosity in the American population in general, too many guns and people to ready to use them. All it takes is one to ruin your whole day...

Lens tests on camera lenses have been done for years by independent labs and published in photo magazines, maybe on web sites. I've never seen a mfr. release such data. Therefore they aren't beholden to it. Such tests can be both revealing, useful and go a long way toward removing...

No… I already have that! Lol. I remember the good old days when lenses for cameras were tested scientifically, not just subjectively. I'm not sure how doable that would be with a camera from a drone. I am sure there must be methods, but they might not be the same.

Software that interpolates raster images adding more pixels to them does not increase image quality. In fact it lowers it. There is a place for rezzing up the pixel count of images in specialized circumstances but it never improves image quality and it's a mistake to believe that it does.
