I have a mini3 pro and love it. The only thing that I like in the 4 that the 3 doesn't have is the side obstacle avoidance. I haven't needed it, and I don't rely on it, but after losing two drones to stupid pilot mistakes, I like have the backup of OA. I've flown my M3P WAY more than either...
It seems every day is a new adventure on YouTube..... Thus far, I've been able to deal with all their shenanigans, but at some point I may just say forget it.
My experience has been that YouTube continues to muck with things in the background, attempting to force people to watch ads and forcing people to their site - it seems to be a constant battle. My guess is something like that is causing this.
It is one of the many things I learned from this site in my attempt to learn how to avoid crashes after having two crashes. One was a total loss, the other flies but the gimbal is messed up. I've had zero issues with my third one (knock on wood). I've learned a great deal from this site.
I don't know about "improperly", but I did have an incorrect orientation on the map once - the location was correct, but the orientation of the drone was off. I restarted and all was good.
I had issues with intermittent jerkiness (although not as bad as what you showed) on my M3P - but changing to 60fps greatly improved the issue. You do need to make sure you are using the video from the drone, not the cached version on the controller as others have mentioned.
I don't have the RC2, but I have this same sunshade for the RC1 and I've been very happy with it:

While there may be...
The other thing that I think is important about Pilot Institute is that they continually give back to the community. They are a part of the community and seek to help and improve it. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ for Pilot Institute.
Since Amazon was the "middleman", it seems like they should/could handle a return for a defective piece of hardware. They are usually pretty good with returns, especially returns that are done soon after purchase - at least that has been my experience.
The skeptic in me would argue it isn't just the "Tom's" of the world doing this - how many large companies regularly "re-brand" themselves? My opinion on that is that they've so totally messed up their reputation with brand X, they need to re-brand to kind of start over -so they can do it all...
After #5 I would add a step to confirm the orientation of the drone on the map (make sure it shows it pointing in the correct direction) - this ensures that everything got initialized correctly.
You might also add another item - immediately after takeoff, hover drone near eye level to make sure...
Nope - I don't fly too far or too high usually and sport mode scares the crap out of me - if I was flying in less crowded spaces or longer distances (BVLOS) I could possibly see the need but as others have said, I think all it will do is end up with more crashed drones. It already takes a while...
Good judgement usually comes from episodes of bad judgement. Most people (myself included) have to learn things the hard way rather than learning from the mistakes of others. I think it is human nature.
When it comes to drones, after losing one and crashing a second one, I've tried really...
Interesting - I've never had issues with the internal storage (that I know of).
Range isn't an issue with me as I don't fly too far from where I am and HDMI out isn't something I use.
I have to say, DJI certainly seems to be pretty good at iterating and improving each generation of drone. Not...
