    DJI Mini 4 Pro V01.00.0500

Users have asked on the DJI Forum for more information on the firmware updates, but it doesn't seem to have gained much traction.

Will be buying a Mini 4 Pro in a week or so - What essentials should I get with it?

One add-on I'm debating whether to pick up is the wide-angle lens attachment for panoramic shots.

Introduction to DaVinci Resolve - [Full Course] for Beginners (2024)

I like DaVinci for the fact that you can use the paid Studio version on Windows and Mac for a one-time fee with free updates and no monthly subscription. It's also a very powerful editing program.

Drone halts Raven vs Bengals game

Drone pilot from AFC Championship Game incident facing two felony charges by FBI. Pilot claims the DJI app never restricted his ability to fly over the stadium, but licensed pilots know that is not an excuse...

Drone halts Raven vs Bengals game

Knuckleheads like this are just giving more ammo for banning consumer drone usage. All it is going to take is for some lawmaker to start making some noise. The1% always seem to be the most vocal.

    2024 Drone/Specs Wishlist & Predictions?

I don't know if we see a Mini 5 Pro this year but would be curious to see if DJI will use the 1-inch sensor from the Pocket 3 into the Mini drone.

DJI Mini 4 Pro losing subject in Active Track Auto mode - I think there is a pattern to it

Probably some algorithms that need to be tweaked with future firmware updates. I haven't run my drones lately with the holidays, so I haven't bothered with the last update yet.

    DJI, Apple and Android

I read it as 3rd party as well. Shouldn’t have any bearing on DJI Fly for drones or DJI Mimo for their handheld products. https://dronedj.com/2023/11/30/dji-ios-sdk-android-app/

    fly in snow

I did my first client Part 107 work last weekend in snow flurries with my Mini 4 Pro to do some land surveying. No damage to the drone. I was more concerned about snowflakes getting on the lens and ruining the footage but escaped without any harm.

    Mavic 4 Pro?

Debating whether to pull the trigger on a Mavic 3 Pro (drone only) or wait for the 4. The New Mavic 3 Pro arrived. Not a great start thread has me concerned a bit to just hold off...lol

    30fps or 60fps ?

If you are using the drone footage as part of a YouTube video or film, then it's more personal preference on frame rate. 60 fps will get you the smoothness and 30 fps will give you a more cinema-like feel. I'm more apt to do timelapses with my drone footage then slow it down. Slow-mo seems...

Does anyone get attached to their drones?

I hear you there. It’s difficult to maintain VLOS with the Minis on less than sunny days. Eventually want to upgrade to a Mavic since I have to register drones anyway for being Part 107 certified.

Does anyone get attached to their drones?

I'm still holding onto my Mini 3 Pro even though I have a Mini 4 Pro. Being that I am now Part 107 licensed, I figured it was good to use the 3 as a backup if I were contracted for work and the 4 is out of commission for whatever reason (crash, major firmware bug that renders it inoperatable, etc.).

When do YOU use Return to Home?

I use RTH for all my landings for the precision. It's also a lot less stress/anxiety to land with RTH when you are dealing with a nearly depleted battery.

Is 512gb storage overkill for M4P?

I went with 128GB knowing that I won't fill it even using all three Fly More batteries.
