Didn't say it has anything to do with DJI. More to do with the U.S. Government. On an unrelated note, I'm going to enjoy the drones I have, they still perform just as well as the day I got them. For those that are new to the hobby, my condolences. It's certainly a challenge time in the industry.

Man, that sucks. Sorry to hear your Mavic 4 Pro being confiscated. A lot of Air 3S buyers dealt with the same issues. Fortunately, a lot of the stories I read is that they either got a refund or DJI helped with the paperwork to get customs release. But, a lot of the political climate has changed...

Makes you wonder if DJI is pulling out of the U.S market until the political policy smoke clears. Anyone want the drones in my fleet? I’ll only charge three times what I paid for them…lol. <jk>

I agree with the other poster - I think the different damper parts are the root of the issue. The third party part may not be of the same spec as OEM, even if it’s visually similar.

Update: I had an extra 128GB SanDisk Extreme V30 microSD card laying around, so I popped it in. Haven’t had any issues with SanDisk cards in the past.

I’ve had good luck with my props too. Just had it out where my Air3S slipped off while landing on the edge of the landing pad placed top of 3-4 inches of grass. It angled/sloped into the grass before shutting off. I think it did some lawn mowing for a split second before shutting off. Props look...

Just seeing this now. Pretty awesome video. I'm still waiting to get a drone deployed in a storm as a storm spotter. Have a lot of trees in the area, so views from the ground are often obstructed.

I'm actually just using the onboard SSD. Mainly use my Air3S for photos and the 42GB storage is sufficient for now.

This forum seems to pooh-pooh the Air 3S more than any place else. Seen some incredible photos and video created by this bird. Yeah, moiré is going to be a problem for video with the removal of the low-pass filter.

Western (or northwestern, depending on point of view) part of the state. Towards the River Falls and Menomonie areas.

A couple reddish sunset photos from smoke/haze in the area. 48 MP crops from the 70mm lens on the Air 3S. No problem with winds at 10 MPH with gusts to 20 MPH.
