I like DaVinci for the fact that you can use the paid Studio version on Windows and Mac for a one-time fee with free updates and no monthly subscription. It's also a very powerful editing program.
Drone pilot from AFC Championship Game incident facing two felony charges by FBI. Pilot claims the DJI app never restricted his ability to fly over the stadium, but licensed pilots know that is not an excuse...
Knuckleheads like this are just giving more ammo for banning consumer drone usage. All it is going to take is for some lawmaker to start making some noise. The1% always seem to be the most vocal.
Probably some algorithms that need to be tweaked with future firmware updates. I haven't run my drones lately with the holidays, so I haven't bothered with the last update yet.
I read it as 3rd party as well. Shouldn’t have any bearing on DJI Fly for drones or DJI Mimo for their handheld products.

I did my first client Part 107 work last weekend in snow flurries with my Mini 4 Pro to do some land surveying. No damage to the drone. I was more concerned about snowflakes getting on the lens and ruining the footage but escaped without any harm.
Debating whether to pull the trigger on a Mavic 3 Pro (drone only) or wait for the 4. The New Mavic 3 Pro arrived. Not a great start thread has me concerned a bit to just hold off...lol
If you are using the drone footage as part of a YouTube video or film, then it's more personal preference on frame rate. 60 fps will get you the smoothness and 30 fps will give you a more cinema-like feel.
I'm more apt to do timelapses with my drone footage then slow it down. Slow-mo seems...
I hear you there. It’s difficult to maintain VLOS with the Minis on less than sunny days. Eventually want to upgrade to a Mavic since I have to register drones anyway for being Part 107 certified.
I'm still holding onto my Mini 3 Pro even though I have a Mini 4 Pro. Being that I am now Part 107 licensed, I figured it was good to use the 3 as a backup if I were contracted for work and the 4 is out of commission for whatever reason (crash, major firmware bug that renders it inoperatable, etc.).
I use RTH for all my landings for the precision. It's also a lot less stress/anxiety to land with RTH when you are dealing with a nearly depleted battery.
