Has anyone resolved what this actually is, and is it caused by condensation? I've just discovered that my mavic has the same problem

??? I know the manual says you only need to recalibrate if asked to do so by the app, however after a catastrophic crash with my mavic, a dji technician (at the dji repair house) told me that it's best to calibrate before every flight.

This thread was a great read; so much to learn. Amazing insight into finding the drone from the experienced members.

Could you give a few details of the shot? Did you have any clear area overhead? How about satellite coverage? My satellite coverage drops off quickly amongst trees and I'm wondering at what point the drone will go into ATTI mode.

New to the drone world but have some experience with video and this is what drew me to the mavic – to get some aerial footage and also dolly/crane shots to spice up my small nature docos on youtube. It's so easy to fly but on my second day a catastrophic crash into water put my plans on hold...
